As an authorised NEVDIS Broker, RedBook can provide access via API for any Australian entity to search the NEVDIS database for vehicle identification information and status checks.
Available calls include Plate to VIN, Vehicle Details, Build/Compliance date, Vehicle Age, Registration Status, Power to Weight, Written Off History and Stolen Check.
Commonly used by Financiers for ease of asset identification as most people don’t know the VIN but do know the Registration number. Also, for checking a vehicles history including stolen or written off status.
